Best Tips  on How to Repel Pests Naturally

Snake:

Spray any scented room freshener. They will leave.

Centipede:

Sprinkle salt. They will not come back. Even Epsom salt helps. [My experience]

Termites:

Spray lemon peel water with vinegar. The smell drives them away. It is good to wipe your doors and windows with this solution.

Rats:

Sprinkle black pepper with mint leaves. They are allergic to the smell of mint leaves.

Flies:

Place sliced pandan leaves. Mix neem oil and camphor.

Cockroaches:

  1. Add bay leaves. They hate the smell.
  2. Take bleaching powder, add Dettol, vinegar, and cleaning liquid. Mix the solution—Spray near the sinks and washroom drains.

Mosquitoes:

  1. Keep the orange peel. The smell of the oranges drives them.
  2. Take neem oil, oregano oil, citronella oil, and add camphor. Prepare the solution, and keep it near your bedside. You get a good night’s sleep.

Ants:

Sprinkle turmeric or coffee powder. The smell makes them run.

Lizard

  1. Pour ice water when you spot it. It will run away.
  2. Lizards have sensitive scent receptors that sharp, pungent smells can easily overwhelm. Combining household vinegar with paint thinner creates a strong localized repellent spray.
  3. Add citronella oil and neem oil to an open container. The scent of citronella deters insects.
