Hey, I am a wellness coach. I conduct classes on meditation, pranayam, and mudras.

Meditation makes miracles. Yes, it is true. If you wish to reach your goals, boost your self-esteem, or lead a healthy life, “meditation” is the only method to accomplish it.

It is not just closing your eyes and sitting quietly. Thoughts emerge like waves, which are both positive and negative. We are addicted to social media due to the development of technology, where sitting quietly with closed eyes is now a herculean task. Due to its impact, the thoughts that are emerging are not based on our attitude but on browsing. So it is mandatory to keep a check while browsing. Also, our mind always asks us to see the mobile rather than do any other work.

I started to practice meditation for 15 minutes in the morning, evening, and night before going to bed.

The meditative mind makes us calm and relieves stress and anxiety. While meditating, observe the breath. Then increase the timing gradually.
Just visualize your goals. Plan the strategy in a meditative pose. It can reach you at great heights.

While doing meditation, you need a serene atmosphere or calm place. Initially, light a lamp or candle, and you can just concentrate on the focal point of the lamp if you are unable to concentrate. Later, after practice, you can start closing your eyes and chanting any mantra or affirmation. Mantras can be simple, like “OM,” which brings peace to your mind. Otherwise, just close your eyes, take a deep breath, and just observe the breath.

The divine within you will take you to insights, and you can visualize some images too. Please do not be specific. You need not worry, even if you are not able to see any images.
Always set a specific time and practice it. Do it religiously and make it punctual to practice meditation. Mindset is more important for doing meditation.

The continuous practice of meditation will guide you with intuition, help you plan the future, and guide you to make accurate decisions. Meditation makes you relieve stress, brings a glow to your face, and reduces wrinkles.
Also, it controls unwanted desires, calms the nervous system, and makes you a composed person. After starting meditation, one of my friend’s anxiety levels were reduced, and her hypertension was controlled.

You can increase your self-esteem by meditating daily. Initially, you may have negative thoughts. Gradually, replace the thought with kind words. Reframe the self-talk with kind and compassionate words that make your mind fine-tune with confidence and kindness.

Talk gently and lovingly to your mind as if you were talking with your baby or child. But do not get into the mode of self-pity. There is a fine line between compassionate talk and self-pity.

Meditation helps to build resilience. It can bring you back to your life after facing adversity or any unpleasant event.
