How to live a healthy life
Living a healthy life is challenging in this fast-changing lifestyle. Technology is improving and we have hands-on information about health. But still, no one is healthy. Diabetes and Hypertension are common lifestyle diseases. Chronic diseases like cancer, kidney problems, heart attack are at an alarming rate. Now people are even suffering from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s too.
Our ancestors lived a healthy life. I was wondering what could be the reason for their secret of a healthy life. We have awareness of living healthy, money to hit the Gym, Do yoga, go for walking. But still, we suffer from lifestyle diseases which leads to chronic diseases.
In my grandma’s olden days they do not have Electrical appliances, so they did hard work and which burnt their calories fastly. They had only homemade foods but we get batters in the shop. We visit Doctors and take a lot of medicines for simple fevers and mild ailments. But they were following home remedies and used herbs and spices in cooking which are preventive measures for the diseases. There are no weekends for them and all the days are same. They live contently what they had and no EMI’s.
After analyzing, Contentment and living with the satisfaction which made them healthier. Also, they follow the family traditions and rituals which helped them to live at Peace. Everyone from all walks of life must practice Pranayama [ breathing exercise] and yoga without fail. Breathing exercise must be a daily ritual like brushing the teeth and taking a bath.
